But, how can I do this, you might well ask; how can I obtain the wisdom of the ages, of many diverse cultures and religions throughout history in one convenient place? I’m glad you asked that – the answer, Young Grasshoppers, is really quite simple. Oneness with Shiva is a supplementary book to Return to Oneness with Shiva, though one doesn’t need to have read the latter book to get a lot of value from reading the former. However, I’d recommend reading both, and the entire series, if you really want to get the most benefits and knowledge about how to promote your own well-being, both spiritually and physically.
Do you want to know more information about holistic healing, and a greater awareness of your place in the Universe? If you follow the wise advice offered in these volumes, these things and more will be yours. The author combines the wisdom of the religions and philosophical beliefs of countries like India and China with those of Judaism and Christianity, in an incomparable blend that incorporates the wisdom of both the East and the West.
What, exactly, are some of the topics Ricardo Serrano covers in Oneness with Shiva? The topics include what the Siddha Path is, what Kundalini or Shakti Awakening is, the Wei Qi Field and how it relates to Qigong, and what Sheng Zhen is, and how each influences us on a daily basis, whether or not we know what they are.
I’ll briefly go into a couple of these topics, as the words used like “Siddha Path” and “Kundalini” might be previously unheard of by some readers of this review. The Siddha Path, if I understand it correctly, presents “a practical psychology of liberation.” It’s based on the Sutras or teachings and knowledge of Shiva, handed down through generations of Siddhas and Gurus. Knowledge of the Sutras helps to lead to self-awareness, and that God is everywhere, even in ourselves.
Kundalini can be thought of as the secret of life, in a way. It is Shakti, or supreme energy, “whom the sages of India worship as the mother of the universe.” In a religious sense, Shakti was the consort of Shiva, and she “is the active aspect of the formless, attributeless Absolute.” The nature of Shakti is that she “is the supreme creative power of the Absolute Being.” There is much, much more to the topic and the definition of what Kundalini Awakening is than what I’ve described, but I will leave it to you to read more about it, when you purchase this book.
Oneness with Shiva is an exceptional teaching tool that will help lead you to a greater self-awareness. It will also assist you in meditating on the self as the self, as the subtitle of the book states. If you are a fan of New Age literature, or desire to learn more about the religious and philosophical beliefs of India and the rest of the world, you owe it to yourselves to check out Oneness with Shiva by Acharya Ricardo B. To become aware of So’ham, “I am That,” is to attain oneness with the Higher Self.
The result of the integration of the Siddha Guru and the awakened Kundalini is a meditation that is very powerful.
The subtle path to the Self is most easily attained through the Guru. Kabir said that the Guru makes one perfect; he unites the individual soul with Shiva. To feel the love of one’s soul is the goal of yoga, according to the Bhagavad Gita.
Unconditional love is the fulcrum of this universe, the original point of the universe. In the practice of Meditation on Three Hearts and Hanuman Qigong, efforts must be made to integrate the mind and heart, to feel the interaction between Love and Qi, restoring the experience of harmony in the world, in nature, and the Universe that may be understood as “being with higher Self” symbolized by Swastika or Yuan Shen (Original Spirit).
