About Wei Qi Field in Qigong

The auric field is called the Wei Qi Field, Healing Field.
There are many names for the invisible auric field that surrounds the physical body in various mystical traditions such as torus, Lightbody, Electromagnetic Field (EMF), energy bubble, Merkaba or aura. The auric field is called Wei Qi Field in Medical Qigong which will be under discussion…

Any negative interchange affects the Wei Qi by literally creating holes within the matrix of the individual’s external energetic fields. When left unattended, these holes leave the body vulnerable to penetration, and disease begins to take root in the body. Strong emotions, in the form of toxic energy, become trapped within the body’s tissues when we hold back or do not integrate our feelings. These unprocessed emotions block the natural flow of Qi, thus creating stagnant pools of toxic energy within the body.

Medical Qigong consists of specific techniques that uses the knowledge of the body’s internal and external energy fields to purge, tonify, and balance these energies. Medical Qigong therapy offers patients a safe and effective way to rid themselves of toxic pathogens and years of painful emotions that otherwise, can cause mental and physical illness. This therapy combines breathing techniques with movement, creative visualization, and spiritual intent to improve health, personal power, and control over one’s own life.”

Grounding or Earthing is defined as placing one’s bare feet on the ground whether it be dirt, grass, sand or concrete (especially when humid or wet). When you ground to the electron-enriched earth, an improved balance of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system occurs.

The Earth is a natural source of electrons and subtle electrical fields, which are essential for proper functioning of immune systems, circulation, synchronization of biorhythms and other physiological processes and may actually be the most effective, essential, least expensive, and easiest to attain antioxidant.

The basis of Chinese medicine exists due to the belief that all living things have Qi. Without Qi there is no life. The theory of External Qi Healing (projection) follows the same theory of acupuncture: Reduce what is excessive, and stimulate what is deficient.

In doing External Qi Healing ( Wai Qi Liao fa), the practitioner gains the benefit of doing Qigong, and after a healing session, the practitioner and recipient should feel the same as if they had just done a set of standing meditation (zhan zhuang) exercises; a sense of calm alertness, euphoria, and all-around good feelings that can last for quite a few hours after the session is done.

“Distance healing is based on the principle of directability and the principle of interconnectedness.”

What is DISTANCE HEALING and Its Healing Benefits? by Ricardo B. Serrano, R.Ac.

Distance healing is basically healing spiritually someone at a distance or remotely in another location (city, country) by a spiritually developed healer. The date and time for distance healing is synchronized between a client and a healer, so that a client or patient is receptive to a distance healer’s Qi-healing. Consultation by Zoom or picture of a patient is helpful to establish a stronger etheric link with a patient.
Why does it work?
The following principles are based on the principles of Qi-healing:

Principle of Transmittability. Life force or vital energy can be transmitted from one person to another person.

Principle of Receptivity. A patient has to be receptive or at least neutral to receive the projected pranic energy. Being relaxed also helps increase the degree of receptivity. Without receptivity, the projected pranic energy will not be absorbed, or only a minimal amount of it will be absorbed. Patients may not be receptive because: they are biased towards this type of healing, they do not like the healer personally, they do not want to get well, or they are in general not receptive about anything.

Principle of Interconnectedness. The body of the patient and the body of the healer are interconnected with each other since they are part of the earth’s energy body. On a more subtle level, it means that we are part of the solar system. We are interconnected with the whole cosmos. The principle of interconnectedness is also called the Principle of Oneness.

Principle of Directability. Life force can be directed. It follows where attention is focused; it follows thought. Distant pranic healing is based on the principle of directability and the principle of interconnectedness. See Tao healing hands and its Meditation Techniques.

Healing Benefits of Distance healing
The same physical, psychological and emotional healing benefits are obtained in distance healing as in a regular one-on-one Qi-healing session. Most clients have noted that their spirits have lifted with an overall experience of tingling all over the body, inner peace, psychological and emotional healing. Some clients have noted that they felt lightness, revitalized, energized and joyful.

Conclusion:
Regular one-on-one Qi-healing session is generally a preferable mode of healing, however, because of distance and time restraints between a healer and a patient, distance healing is another viable option to those who prefer remote distance healing.

The magic of manifestation happens when the Spirit (Shen), the Heart and the Mind join as ONE.- Dr Rulin Xiu

Liu He Ba Fa (LHBF) utilizes the power of Xingyi as its center, utilizes the stepping patterns of Bagua for its turning and spinning, and utilizes the neutralizing power of Taiji for its variations. Its movements are sometimes high, sometimes low, sometimes fast, sometimes slow. These movements resemble that of floating clouds, and flowing water that is sometimes calm, sometimes surging. Therefore, it is also known as Water Style. The movements of Liu He Ba Fa are constantly fluctuating with clearly defined forward, backward, upward, downward, and lateral motions. Each and every movement is lead by the mind (xin yi). The mind initiates and the movements follow. It is therefore, also known as Xinyi Liu He Ba Fa. As an internal art, it not only serves as a system of self defence; it also benefits health, strengthens the body, dispels sickness and increases longevity, and to achieve enlightenment.

Zhan Zhuang Qigong is practiced before commencing LHBF’s 12 movements to circulate the Qi in the macrocosmic orbit, expand Wei Qi field and build the lower dantien. The movements are very grounding building the Qi in leg meridians and arm meridians for healing and fajing (Qi emission) Kong power.

Kuan Yin Standing/Sitting Gong

In the practice of Kuan Yin Standing Qigong, as one strengthens the body, one stimulates the ability to work on one’s spirit. When one becomes dedicated to the practice, the body becomes the tool through which one can experience the purification of the heart. Strength and depth of character as well as fullness of being is the result of inviting the Qi to come to the body and to fill the dantian. As the Qi builds up in this movement, there is a kind of inner courage that is awakened, the courage to work on oneself becomes something very natural to do. With more Qi, one develops inner courage to look within.

Buddha’s light also means the light from your body.

How can you become a Buddha? How can you become what the Buddha symbolizes? How can you embody the Buddha’s teachings?

You must first understand what life is. This is the first step that one takes to become a Buddha or a saint.

The light of the Buddha also symbolizes the love bestowed by God. Buddha’s light shines on you until you are awakened. Align your love with Buddha’s heart. In this way, Heaven and you become united as one; you will be granted both power and guidance. This movement implies that you have attained your life’s goal and lifetime wish.

At this moment, you have a peaceful mind. After experiencing life’s ups and downs, your love is integrated with your body. When you quiet down and practice Buddha’s discipline, you master your inner mind. This becomes a new starting point as well as the beginning of an even higher level of awareness.

A Commentary on the Journey to the West by Ricardo B Serrano:

Sun Wukong, Monkey King from Forbidden Kingdom

Sun Wukong, Monkey King
The popular Chinese novel Zhang Jizhong, Journey to the West (2011) with 66 episodes in video format is a fictionalized account of the legendary pilgrimage to India of the Buddhist monk Xuanzang, and loosely based its source from the historic text Great Tang Records on the Western Regions and traditional folk tales.

The monk travelled to the “Western Regions” during the Tang Dynasty, to obtain sacred texts (sutras). Bodhisattva Kuan Yin, on instruction from the Buddha, gives this task to the monk and his three protectors in the form of disciples — namely Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing — together with a dragon prince who acts as Xuanzang’s steed, a white horse. These four characters have agreed to help Xuanzang as an atonement for past sins.

My favorite main character of this awesome Buddhist novel is the Monkey King Sun Wukong because he is the Chinese version of Lord Hanuman who is an ascended master of Kashmir Shaivism. The Heart Sutra mantra of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara is also the novel’s theme song and practiced by the warrior characters of the novel with devotion to their Sifu/Master Xuanzang and Bodhisattva Kuan Yin and Gautama Buddha which I believe are instrumental to their eventual enlightenment in the span of over 10 years along their perilous journey against demons, human robbers, gods and evil spirits.

This Chinese Buddhist novel is a metaphor to the ancient immortals’ inner quest for returning to oneness with the essence of true consciousness, called the Atma (Higher Soul) or the Original Spirit (Yuan Shen), which is fundamentally our illumined original nature.

This Chinese Buddhist novel reminded me of my spiritual journey of over 45 years as an immigrant from the Philippines to Canada with a three month Chinese Medicine internship stay in Zhejiang, China that I was fully grateful for learning from life challenges in healing and relationships, and from my Taoist and Buddhist Qigong and Chinese medicine teachers which have all been necessary lessons for my healing and spiritual growth and Self-realization (soul enlightenment).

Unfortunately, the spiritual journey has been difficult for most Chinese themselves in mainland China due to the fact that it’s political Chinese Communist Party as an evil cult suppresses freedom of religion – Buddhism, Taoism, Christianity, and other spiritual paths such as (spiritual Qigong) for healing and Qi cultivation with spiritual growth.

“Form is emptiness, emptiness is form.” – Heart Sutra

An important spiritual message for me after finishing this long novel is that the truth about emptiness has to be experienced before believing “Form is emptiness, emptiness is form,” stated in the Heart Sutra, an important Buddhist sutra. The essence of all things is emptiness.

The Noble Eightfold Path is an important path to the Heart Sutra practitioners:
